IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTICE:
- The clips have different durations--why?
- Some of the cuts are made by "cutting on action" and others are not--why?
- The first clip and the last clip are the longest--why?
Assignment:
Pick one of the following scenarios:
- [Ha! Invent your own scenario! And stop reading this list because I have a bunch of examples below that you might be tempted to use, but they're not yours, they're mine, so sorry, NOT, just couldn't help myself, and how's it going to feel if you do one of them knowing that the idea was mine and not yours?]
- A student sitting at a desk is writing a 250-page thesis without stopping for anything--thru the night, all day, eating, sleeping, etc, etc, never stopping until its finished.
- AMAZING! She's building the world's tallest card tower, wow!
- After all their smacktalk, look, they're finally having the arm-wrestling contest we've all been waiting for--and wow!, what a back and forth battle it is!
- Doesn't he realize what's happening behind him? And how can he sit there that long and just stare at us with all that going on back there?
- OMG it's coming right at us--we're all going to die!!
